The nose of this wine boasts aromas of blackberry bramble, dark olives, bay leaf, and dried herbs. Flavors in the mouth include fruit leather and plum, ending with a dusting of cocoa powder. Youthful tannins balance the weight of this wine, and yield a balanced finish.
This wine showcases one of our favorite flavors in Walla Walla wines: dusty spices, which are so characteristic of our Valley. The addition of Cabernet Sauvignon adds some weight to the wine, making it a robust, full-bodied Merlot.
